The proudly Lebanese brand, Bachir Ice cream will continue its legacy with the inaugural store opening in the UAE at Al Jada, Sharjah on November 27th. The story began in 1936 in the town of Bikfaya, Lebanon when brothers, Maurice and Edward Bachir who espoused two sisters, Marie-Antoinette and Yvette Bejjani started making ice cream cones in just the backyard of their house.
The beloved ice cream brand originates from a long line of family descendants and has now become everyone’s favourite fueled by passion, commitment, and continuity at the core of its ethos. To celebrate its debut store opening in the UAE and 86 years since its founding, the first 86 customers who visit the store on November 27 will get their favorite ice cream scoop for free.
Bachir Ice cream has grown with over 50 stores worldwide, from Lebanon to Brazil and France, and finally arriving to the food paradise, UAE. The authentic, rich, and luscious flavours promise to take you on a trip down memory lane reminiscing childhood days with family and friends. The menu at Al Jada includes a range of their famous flavours: Ashta dipped in pistachios, Chocolate, Lemon, Mulberry, Apricot, Strawberry and will debut some exclusive flavours to the UAE: Dates, Rose Loukoum, Lemon Mint and Pineapple.

It was in the 70’s that Bachir saw an expansion all over Lebanon through the first generation of children, Elie, Charles, Roland, and Georges. By the early 80’s it had opened in several other towns, and continued to fight its way through the war and hardships that Lebanon faced in the 90’s to expand and open even more shops. For its first store in the UAE, the brand chose the ideal Al Jada Mall in Sharjah, an upscale and urban environment that offers a plethora of activities at your fingertips. Following this opening, Bachir announced two upcoming store openings in Dubai’s City Walk and Galleria Mall, Al Barsha, by December 2022.
