In a move signaling a new era of luxury hospitality in Oman, JW Marriott Hotel Muscat proudly announced the appointment of Juliana Salla as its General Manager. Having reopened its doors in October 2023 after maintenance and enhancements, the flagship hotel is set to redefine the guest experience under Salla’s leadership.
Bringing over two decades of international expertise in the tourism and hospitality sector, Salla has traversed continents with Marriott, contributing significantly to the brand’s footprint in South America, North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and China. Her journey with Marriott includes senior leadership roles at W-owned properties in Qatar, Indonesia, and China.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Salla remarked, “I am honored to be taking on this leading role with such a prestigious, meticulously designed property. We aim to foster a serene sanctuary for business and leisure, or a seamless blend of both, for meaningful stays that feature the highest levels of attention to detail every step of the way.”
Before her role in Muscat, Salla spent six years in integral positions at two Ritz-Carlton properties, in Bali and the Maldives. She honed her leadership skills during a decade with the W brand, contributing to the pre-opening of various W properties. Salla’s career commenced with Disney Cruise Lines before transitioning to land-based hotel operations.
